Tapestry

Shown as part of an Image17 project - Walthamstow Tapestry (after Grayson Perry). The resulting 15 metre long group installation was made up of over 240 individual photographs. It created a collective visual journey depicting life in Waltham Forest and contained themes which resonate far beyond the borders of the borough. My work explored how much visual and verbal information confronts us on a daily basis. They were taken on the everyday journeys I make within Walthamstow between home, work, and school. What to do; what to look at; what to buy; or what to think.
