A document of the Hawker Siddeley Power Transformers factory prior to it's demolition in 2005. the site had been a major employer in Waltham Forest for some 80 years. Anything of any value had been sold or taken away and the factory was left in a state of repose.
The resulting series of images formed part of an exhibition at the Vestry House Museum. The exhibition included archive material including photographs by company photographer Albert Bale. Waltham Forest Oral History Workshop recorded oral histories from past employees to tell their story of Hawker Siddeley in Walthamsow.
